About InventQuest
InventQuest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps children discover the excitement of STEM through hands-on learning. We believe kids learn best by building, creating, testing ideas, and working together to solve problems. Our programs encourage curiosity, creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking through fun, interactive challenges. Whether students are designing a prototype, tackling an engineering challenge, or exploring a new scientific concept, they're learning skills that go far beyond the classroom.
At InventQuest, we want every child to feel confident sharing ideas, asking questions, and trying something new. We believe that making mistakes is part of learning, and that some of the best ideas come from experimenting, improving, and trying again. Our goal is simple: to create experiences that inspire kids to think big, stay curious, and realize they're capable of making a difference. We hope every child leaves InventQuest with new skills, greater confidence, and a love of learning that lasts long after the program ends. Together, we're inspiring the next generation of innovators.
About the Founders
Hi, I’m Mason Mitchell, 16-year-old co-founder of InventQuest. While many people know me as a musician and songwriter, STEM has always been just as important to me. I’ve always loved creating, whether that’s writing a song, building a project, or coming up with a new idea. To me, both music and STEM are about curiosity, creativity, and turning an idea into something meaningful. I co-founded InventQuest because I want other students to experience that same excitement. I know how much hands-on learning can spark confidence and open doors, and I believe every student deserves the opportunity to explore STEM in a fun, engaging, and welcoming environment. Some of the best ideas start with a simple question, and I want to encourage students to ask those questions, think outside the box, and never be afraid to try something new. As a student myself, I understand how important it is to have opportunities to discover your passions. My goal is to help inspire the next generation of innovators by showing that STEM isn’t just about memorizing facts, it’s about solving problems, creating new possibilities, and making a difference. I truly believe every student has the potential to innovate, and InventQuest exists to help them realize it.
Hi, I'm London Marsinick (18), co-founder of InventQuest. From a young age, I have been passionate about science and discovering how the world works. While my curiosity was endless, I often had limited opportunities to explore STEM through hands-on experiences. That inspired my mission to create opportunities for today's children to learn, experiment, and grow through engaging, interactive activities.
At InventQuest, I believe learning should be exciting, meaningful, and driven by curiosity, not something that feels forced. Our goal is to give children the chance to explore STEM through creativity, problem-solving, and real-world challenges while also developing valuable life skills such as teamwork, communication, and perseverance. Before founding InventQuest, I helped support STEM education through a variety of science-based camps and programs, where I saw firsthand the impact that hands-on learning can have on a child's confidence and imagination. I have also worked with children ages 2–9 as an assistant dance teacher, further strengthening my passion for mentoring young learners and creating positive educational experiences. Through InventQuest, I hope to inspire the next generation of innovators, creators, and problem-solvers by making STEM accessible, engaging, and fun for every child.
